First Aid, CPR & Manual Handling Training

General Information

We offer a wide range of accredited courses under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF), including:
 
HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
HLTAID010 – Provide Basic Emergency Life Support
HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid
HLTAID012 – Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting

All courses are delivered on behalf of ABC First Aid RTO 3399 and comply with ASQA standards.

Enrolment & Payment

You can enrol easily online via our website or by phone.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, EFT (bank transfer) and PayID.

Yes, we offer flexible rescheduling. Please notify 48 hours in advance to avoid cancellation fees. Terms are outlined in our cancellation policy. You may reschedule your course free of charge by providing at least 48 hours’ notice prior to the course start time. Rescheduling with less than 48 hours’ notice may incur a rebooking fee of up to $25. No-shows or non-attendance without notice will result in the forfeiture of course fees.

Unique Student Identifier (USI)

If you don’t have a USI, you can create one at usi.gov.au.
We cannot issue your certificate without a valid USI.
Please ensure your USI is provided before or on the day of your course.

Blended courses allow you to complete theory online, followed by a short in-person practical session. This offers flexibility while meeting all national standards.

  • All course materials, equipment, and training aids are provided including a FREE CPR mask.

Certification & Renewal

Yes. You will receive a Statement of Attainment issued by an RTO, recognised across Australia.
  • CPR (HLTAID009): 12 months (annual refresher recommended)
  • First Aid (HLTAID011 / HLTAID012): 3 years (with annual CPR refresher)
  • Manual Handling (HLTWHS005): No national expiry, but most workplaces recommend renewal every 1–2 years
  • Advanced First Aid/Resuscitation: 3 years (with CPR annually)

Your certificate will only show Date of Issuance  with recommendations of renewals/refreshers as per the First Aid Code of Practice.

Digital certificates are typically emailed within 24–48 hours after successful course completion. Same-day issuing is available for most courses.

Manual Handling (HLTWHS005)

HLTWHS005 – Conduct Manual Tasks Safely equips participants with the knowledge and skills to perform lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying tasks safely in the workplace, reducing the risk of musculoskeletal injuries.
This course is essential for workers in:

Course Specifics

  • HLTAID009: CPR only (Adult & Infant)
  • HLTAID011: Full First Aid (includes CPR, bleeding, burns, fractures, asthma, etc.)
  • HLTAID012: First Aid tailored for early childhood and school educators – meets ACECQA and Education and Care Services National Regulations standards
Yes. Our courses meet the compliance standards of Safe Work Australia, WorkSafe VIC/NSW/QLD/WA, NSW Health, ACECQA, and other relevant bodies.
